COLOUR INKSPIRATION @ C 119

Hello and thanks for visiting my blog today . I haven't taken part in a challenge for quite a while , sometimes life just gets too busy !
I looked at the colours for this challenge and to be truthful was not inspired at all ! Then as a trolled the internet looking for an idea to jump out at me I remember the faux patina technique ! It's been ages since I've used this technique.
I began by stamping the gorgeous branches from the Thoughts For You set , one of our oldest stamps , using Black Archival ink and then I embossed this piece using the Woodlands embossing folder . I started with sponging  beginning with Smoky Slate , then Garden Green , Daffodil Delight and finished off with Basic Gray Archival . I used Copper embossing powder for my heat embossing .
I cut my trees from Shimmery White CS and coloured them with Garden Green ink using my aqua painter - I had tried Garden Green CS and found it too dark against my gorgeous background . The deer are cut from Copper Foil sheets and some gorgeous Copper ribbon finishes my card off  . With the sentiment I have added this card could be used for many occasions . I was delighted to be able to use my bronze Stampin' Blends alcohol marker to colour the rhinestone jewels I have added !

SATURDAY STAMP - A - STACK

CHRISTMAS STAMP - A -  STACK

Hello everyone and welcome back . Today I held a stamp - a stack which had been scheduled a few weeks ago but I was forced to cancel because I became unwell with a dreadful virus . I am back at work now after three weeks of my bed and the couch - no inclination what so ever to create a card so yes, those that know me I was sick ! I am still recovering .
This  afternoons  stamping went quickly with everyone working at their own pace and  being finished in good time . This was my first stamp - a - stack so I wasn't sure how much time to allow.

These are the cards which my group of ladies created today . This first set was cased from Cindy Elam at Hearts's Delight Cards . Thanks for the great idea for these cards Cindy ! You can cut the buildings out in one pass through the Big Shot which makes this set quick and easy to put together because then with minimal stamping you just adhere to your DSP and you're done !

This card uses one of my favourite sets ! I've used it in lots of ways from simple to more complex . It has matching framelits but we didn't use them for this card and it was a snap to put together . I love Tranquil Tide for Christmas ! I cased this lovely card from Carol Payne .

I really love this simple card and the DSP would have to be my favourite !

I loved using this set , which is not a Christmas one to create this lovely card ! Love the tinsel trim too ! Like what you see ? If you live in the Kerang district I will be repeating this class next Saturday , contact me for more details .

MORE ECLIPSE TECHNIQUE CARDS

I am enjoying the eclipse technique so much I had to share some of the cards I have created .
It is my husband's birthday tomorrow so I have created this card for him . I cased  the design from Cyndy Pratt and altered the words to make it a birthday card . I think hubby will like it !

My next card is my own design and I am so pleased with my result ! Simple but stunning don't you agree !

The next cards are those created by me that my Tuesday evening ladies created as their free choice . This class is always so much fun and their is always a great deal of laughter !
This card was the one Vicki chose to create and hers looked great !

Mary chose to case this card I created and had fun colouring it with  blendablities . A new form of alcohol markers will be available in the near future but at the moment they are only available to demonstrators .

Denise cased my Christmas card - a really easy one to create , I just masked off the word , star , from the stamp using wash tape ! I was stoked  !

Lianne chose this card which I demonstrated because it uses a technique I have not yet shared with my ladies . Stamp your design onto Glossy card stock, allow to dry , add colour using your sponge roller . Buff with a tissue , that's it , no embossing powder required ! Lianne changed up her card by using the word Lily for her granddaughter and then asked if she could mount it on Cherry Cobbler card stock , because red is Lily' s favourite colour . it looked amazing !

Here are just a few more ! Enjoy !
