POP UP CARDS WITH PAPER PIECING TECHNIQUE

Hi everyone ! Im so thrilled with my latest pop up creations I just had to share my designs with you ! I'm so in love with this stamp set and plan on using it for all of the females in my family this year . It is so versatile and the creations are endless ! I was inspired to try paper piecing by several cards I have seen on Pinterest but I did not copy them exactly but instead made up my own version because I wanted to use my stash of retired pretty DSP !  I came across a problem  - I wanted four different ladies and there are just three in the set ! What to do ? I had seen an idea here but did not wish to water colour the image because I wanted to stay on theme and use paper piecing . I took my piece of DSP , Twitterpatered , for this first card for my neice , Michelle , and stamped the top half only of the girl with the umbrella . Then I took a sharpie and swiftly drew the outline of a ball gown type dress ! Then it was simply a matter of snipping her out as I had the other ladies ! Cool Huh ! Lookie !

I have another neice , Nikala , having a birthday on Valentines Day ! This is the card I created for her using my Painted Blooms DSP and the same technique .

Then a male one for my neice's husband's 40 th ! I used Serene Scenery for this one and my retired Moon Lake stamp set because Jordan loves to fish !

Thanks for looking 😃😃😃
